Today we ventured underground. The Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a cave like no other. We descended on foot over 79 stories and saw what can only be described as primitive and futuristic all at the same time. Many different types of movies have been filmed in the caverns and we were down for over 2 hours. We opted for the self guided audio tour (I love those things). It keeps everyone busy, quiet and informed.
